Link in Bio Tools

How we review

Most link-in-bio review sites are thinly disguised affiliate farms that score every tool highly because every tool pays them. That's the thing we wanted to avoid. Below is the actual process we use, so you know what's behind the scores.

Which tools we cover

We aim to cover every bio link platform that is currently operating and has meaningful adoption. We also include adjacent tools that people compare to bio links (link shorteners, website builders, music promo tools), because leaving them out would leave real user questions unanswered. Tools that have shut down (Bento, Linkpop, Koji, Snipfeed, etc.) keep their review pages with a clear shutdown note, because people still search for them and most results online are stale.

What we look at

For each tool review, we cover:

How we verify

Pricing is captured from each tool's official pricing page and cross-referenced against recent third-party reporting. We update pricing when we learn it has changed; Linktree's November 2025 price hike, for example, was reflected across every relevant article within days. Where we can't verify a claim, we say so in the review.

Comparisons and best-of lists

Head-to-head comparisons pick a winner when one is clearly better, and declare the comparison situational when it isn't. Best-of lists have one winner and a handful of runners-up, each with their own honest strengths and weaknesses. We try not to pick the same winner for every list, and we won't reshuffle just to create artificial diversity when one tool is genuinely the right call across multiple categories.

Corrections

If we got something wrong, let us know via the contact page. We update for accuracy, not for vibes.
